David Architects, PLLC was originally established in 1997 as D.R.G. & Associates by architect David R. German. In 2001, the business was restructured and the firm name changed to The Architecture Group and in 2008, the firm was incorporated as David Architects, PLLC. Over the years, David Architects has developed an extensive background of impressive project experience on a large variety of project types such as bank buildings, commercial office buildings, retail centers, medical and healthcare facilities, K12 education facilities, public safety, police and fire stations and residential. By working closely with our clients to create relationships built on trust, David Architects provides our clients with intuitive design solutions that are creative and inspired.
David R. German is the Senior Principal and President of David Architects. David graduated from the Texas Tech University College of Architecture in 1990 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree with special emphasis on design. He has been an active member in the American Institute of Architects and in the Texas Society of Architects. He has served on the Board of Directors for the AIA Lubbock Chapter as Associate Director, Membership Director, Development Director, Communication’s Director, Vice-President and 2 years as Chapter President. David is a licensed architect in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana and has been certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.
David is a member of the Green Building Initiative and is a certified Green Globes Professional. Sustainability and resource conservation are important issues facing both architects and building owners. Green Globes Certification is a nationally recognized system where the certification process ensures energy conservation, lowered water consumption, responsible use of materials and efficient use of project team time.
