David has been and continues to be an active member of his community, volunteering his time and energy in many great local organizations. Perhaps his most compassionate endeavor has been serving as Team Captain for the American Diabetes Association in their StepOut Walk to Fight Diabetes. David was designated a Gold Medal Fundraiser Champion, having raised thousands of dollars for the ADA. Other community organizations that David has been involved with include the Lubbock Area United Way, Goodwill Industries, Lubbock Impact, Boy Scouts of America (South Plains Council), Boys & Girls Club of Lubbock, Legacy Play Village (workforce volunteer), Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army and CASA of the South Plains (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children).
